Cleanroom production

HMI assemblies place the highest demands on optical and mechanical quality. For us, excellence does not start with the finished product, but with the controlled environment in which it is manufactured. Central processes such as touch lamination and optical bonding are carried out entirely in our own cleanroom – from first handling to the finished assembly. This is the only way to ensure maximum cleanliness, process reliability and consistently high quality.

Highlights & equipment

Designed for bubble-free optical bonding – with clearly defined zones, controlled airflow and cleanroom-ready infrastructure.

Floor space & layout

250 m² cleanroom area according to ISO 14644-1 (Class 7), plus separate material and personnel airlocks (26 m²) to cleanly separate the outside from the production area.

Pressure cascade for clean zone transitions

A defined, decreasing pressure cascade ensures that air always flows from inside to outside. This reliably prevents particles from entering – especially in the sensitive bonding zones.

Air cleanliness & particle control

FFU units with H14 HEPA filters generate a laminar displacement flow and remove even finest particles – essential for bubble-free optical bonding without inclusions.

Climate control

Stable conditions with constant temperature and humidity (approx. 20 °C, 45–55% r. h.) create the optimal environment for sensitive materials such as silicones, OCA films, displays and touch sensors.

ESD protection throughout the cleanroom

A dissipative ESD floor reliably protects sensitive electronic components against electrostatic discharge – also during handling, assembly and final inspection.

Clean processes – clean results

Abrasion-resistant, smooth and cleanroom-ready surfaces enable efficient cleaning and prevent particle deposits – for long-term process reliability over many years.

Why cleanroom production?

Even the smallest particles in the micrometre range can lead to visible defects or functional limitations in optical bonding and touch lamination.

That is why for us only one rule applies: only if the entire process chain – from A to Z – takes place under controlled conditions can perfect results be reproduced.

  • No optical defects caused by inclusions
  • High yield and consistently high quality
  • Maximum process reliability – even for special formats and small series
